The town of Marsa Alam is an upcoming resort lying on the southern Red Sea Riviera with a slightly more moderate climate than the extreme temperatures of some of Egypt’s inland cities.  It attracts divers wishing to explore the resort’s crystal waters and diverse sealife, as well as families and accessible holidaymakers seeking a hub from which to visit the country’s many historical sites. 

As well as enjoying all that Marsa Alam has to offer, it is also possible to visit famous Egypt’s most famed destinations, Cairo and Luxor, from there too.  Day trips will be long and may require a flight, so it may be an idea to plan staying overnight if you venture elsewhere, but the opportunity to explore these other delights as well as those of Marsa Alam may be too tempting to look past.
