Welcome to your exciting wheelchair tour in Argentina. This accessible program combines adventure, culture, nature, and leisure, as well as an all-inclusive stay. Hotels throughout the Argentina program present a good level of accessibility. Some have wheel-in showers, some have small steps to get into showers, grab on bars, but in general, they adapt their facilities to host people using a wheelchair.
During your time in this stunning destination, you will discover beautiful Buenos Aires, witness breathtaking landscapes in Southern Patagonia, experience close Glacier observation that will blow you away and so much more. As well as our standard 8-day tour, your experience can be extended to include excursions to Iguazu falls, considered by many to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a once in a lifetime experience.

On the first day, your exciting tour begins with an adapted transfer from the airport to your accessible hotel in Buenos Aires. Once checked in, there will be a quick briefing about the Argentinian adventure ahead and everything you can expect from this tailor-made experience. If you happen to arrive early to your hotel, there will be a shared half-day tour of Buenos Aires arranged to help kick off this thrilling experience.
Today’s activities start with a flight to Ushuaia. Once you touch down, you’ll be transported to your wheelchair accessible hotel to enjoy a lovely afternoon discovering the local surroundings.
During your stay, you will visit the Ushuaia Navy Base, the end of the world museum, the tugboat Saint Christopher, the parish “Our Lady of Mercy” and the Monument to the fallen in Malvinas war.
While exploring this destination, you’ll be treated to beautiful panoramic views of the city as well as its surrounding mountains, allowing you to take in the sights as well as the culture.
The third day will include a half-day visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, by way of the old End of the World Railway Station that will take you through stunning valleys for 20 minutes. Then, once in the National Park, we will go on to Ensenada Bay, where you can view Redonda Island, from which will continue to travel across the woods to observe the local flora and fauna, till we arrive at Lapataia Bay.
For the afternoon we will head towards the tourist pier to sail Beagle Channel, observing Argentinian coasts and Navarino Island on the opposite side. During the return, we'll sail along small islands where you'll have stunning views of elephant seals and a variety of wild birds.
Today you fly to El Calafate. Upon arrival, your guide and transportation will be ready and waiting to take you to the town, where you’ll check-in at your wheelchair accessible hotel. After you've had some time to settle in, we'll take a journey around the sights and sample the local cuisine.
After breakfast, we’ll venture towards the Perito Moreno Glacier. Perito Moreno is an impressive natural wonder with ice walls that are more than 200 foot in height, which are so close to you that you can feel the cold emanating from them.
Around this destination, there are plenty of access points, all completely accessible, that allow you to soak in every ounce of this stunning landscape. Once your stay has concluded you will return to El Calafate for dinner.
Prepare for an early start! The day will begin with an adapted transfer from El Calafate to Port of Punta Bandera, where you’ll board an accessible catamaran and sail across Argentino Lake.
During your time on the lake, you will encounter the Upsala Glacier, which presents many icebergs as you journey closer to it. From there we will continue until we reach the Spegazzini Glacier, descending from the mountains to the lake, which makes for picture-perfect moments.
Today we fly back to Buenos Aires, with time to relax once we arrive back at the hotel. In the early evening, you'll be treated to a delicious meal in an accessible restaurant in Buenos Aires, followed by an excellent Tango and Folklore Show.
Today we have a half-day excursion to El Tigre Delta, which is a very unique and beautiful area that is formed by the Rio de la Plata river.
At this point, your tour will end. Or you can choose to venture further. During this time you’ll experience stunning waterfalls, amazing panoramic views and much more. This will include taking a flight to your new destination, Iguazu.
Today you will be visiting the National Park, where the tour continues with magnificent panoramic views of the Falls. The ecological train takes you now to the famous Garganta del Diablo, which certainly is the highlight of this tour.
UPPER CIRCUIT: The 800 meters of catwalks are detached from the jungle´s surface to protect the fauna by preventing disruption of their natural trails. From this circuit you have an overhead view of the falls, enjoying their magnificence with a panoramic view.
DEVIL´S THROAT: Departing from Cataratas Station, the train goes up to Garganta Station, where you’ll journey along the catwalks to enjoy the most spectacular sight from the most impressive balcony: the Devil’s Throat.
For your final day, you’ll first be catching a flight back to Buenos Aires, where, if time permitting, we will have a quick visit to Evita Peron museum.
Adapted transportation will be provided to help connect between airports in Buenos Aires where your time in Argentina will end, leaving you with smiles on your faces and unforgettable memories.
Tour dates can be arranged, as and when you would like to travel whether that’s next week or next month, it is entirely up to you. We do however suggest particular seasons throughout the year, often from September - June, as this provides you with better chances of experiencing ideal weather during your stay.
The total price of the tour covers adapted transfers, air travel from customer selected airports, guaranteed accessible accommodation, the daily cost of wheelchair-friendly transportation in Argentina, tour guides, adapted excursions, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner on specified days.
Travellers must be able to do individual or assisted manual transfers into bus seats, shower chairs, boats, etc. and be willing to share transportation and activities with others while in the boat rides.
